The terrifying 7.8 magnitude earthquake that shook Nepal on Saturday, the 25th of April, 2015 have left the country devastated with huge losses of lives and property.
Reportedly, the quake hit the region between the capital, Kathmandu and the Pokhara city in the highly populated valley of Kathmandu. As per recent reports, the death toll has increased claiming more than 3200 lives till now.
Furthermore, an avalanche struck the base camp at Mt. Everest (which was present at an altitude of 5,364 meters) following the massive earthquake in which nearly 18 mountaineers were found dead and more than 61 people were injured.
Reports show that the avalanche flattened almost 30 tents and a large number of climbers are still missing.
