Bollywood Celeb Statues at Madam Tussauds Museums

 

With the news of Katrina Kaif being the latest Bollywood Star to join the clan of celebs at Madam Tussauds museum, lets have a look at the  Superstars of Bollywood who have been immortalized at different Madam Tussauds Museums across the world. 

1. Amitabh Bachchan

The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is the first living Asian as well as Bollywood Superstar whose wax statue have been inscribed at Madam Tussauds, London in the year 2000. This legendary actor’s statues are also present in Madam Tussauds New York (2009), Hong Kong (2011) and Washington DC (2012).

2. Shahrukh Khan

Mr. King Khan (Shahrukh Khan) or the Badshah of Bollywood was honored with his wax statue being installed at Madam Tussauds, London in the year 2007. Badshah Khan’s wax statue is also present in Madam Tussauds Museum, New York.

3. Salman Khan

Salman Khan, our own Bhaijaan(only for guys 😉 ) also joined this brigade when his statue was carved at Madam Tussauds, London in 2008, a year after Shahrukh’s statue was included there.

4. Hrithik Roshan

Superstar Hrithik Roshan unveiled his wax statue at Madam Tussauds in the year 2011. His statue is dedicated to one of his most appreciated characters of “Aryan” or “Mr. A” in the movie Dhoom 2. The wax replica has perfectly depicted his six pack abs and Greek God looks which can make girls go crazy even on his statue.

5. Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan became the first Indian actress and the second Bollywood celebrity (after Father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan), whose wax statue was added in the prestigious Madam Tussauds Museum, London in 2004. This former miss world’s wax figure was also inscribed in Madam Tussauds Museum, Time square, New York in 2007.

6. Madhuri Dixit

The evergreen diva also known as the “Dhak Dhak girl” of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit Nene received this honor in the year 2012. Her charming looks and lovely smile which has won thousands of hearts is carved beautifully in her wax figurine as well.

7. Kareena Kapoor

After Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kappor became the third Indian Bollywood Female Star to unveil her wax statue at Madam Tussauds in 2011. The wax idol that was originally dressed with the famous “Mauja Hi Mauja” getup got a makeover in 2014 with the gorgeous red saree from her popular song “Chammak Challo”.

8. Katrina Kaif

And now its Katrina Kaif who finally joined this clan beating competitors like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone and unveiled her wax statue at Madam Tussauds, London. The actress unveiled her wax replica as a part of the museum’s “15 years of Bollywood” celebration.
