Defying her glam doll image, Sonam Kapoor is here to shut critics’ mouths through her powerful role in and as Neerja.
Neerja is the valorous tale of 22 years old Neerja Bhanot (who would have turned 23 in 2 days), a flight attendant for Pan Am who sacrificed her life saving 359 passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986. Through this biopic, we will get to see the audacity with which Neerja fought with the terrorists till her last breath and saved the life of innocent passengers without caring about her own life.
Seeing the trailer, the movie looks promising. The film is directed by Ram Madhvani and also stars ace actor Shabana Azmi and music director cum singer Shekhar Ravijani.
