Do you feel your privacy gets hampered whenever you post a tweet when you are outside? Relax! Now you can add any random location to your tweets instead of the actual one. Here is how to Geotag tweets with random location.
Adding location to tweets:
Usually the Twitter mobile clients does not provide the facility to add random locations to tweets but this can be done by the help of a web-based app known as PleaseDontStalkMe.com. This app helps you in posting a tweet as per your desired location by letting you select a specific location of your choice on Google map. This can be done either by dragging the marker or by the help of search box for finding the accurate location.
As the Twitter website does not show any more the name of the app by the help of which the tweet was posted, so your faked location won’t be known by your followers from the tweet. However, make sure to limit your tweets to only 140 characters or else the tweet may fail from being posted.
Besides, the tweets can also be Geotagged from the official Twitter.com website itself. You simply need to select the location icon present near the tweet button and change the location. The only limitation in process is that, instead of attaching the exact location, only city-level locations can be added to the tweets.
