The Bengaluru Mass Molestation that happened on the night of 31st December has shocked the entire nation beyond words. The horrific incident has totally removed our right to be called a progressive society. The worst part is the fact that there is a certain fraction of the society who still have the guts to justify the incident by saying “such things happen” and by blaming girls for it!
While the state home minister G Parameshwara said that “western ways” were leading to incidents like the one that happened on New Year’s Eve in Bengaluru; Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi said that the molestation was bound to happen as women consider nudity as fashion. He also said that women should not roam around in the dark barring when they are accompanied by male family members. “If a girl celebrates after dark she should go with her husband, father and not with strangers. There should be strict action against those going against our culture,” added Mr. Azmi.
Recently superstar Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to show how shocked and angry he was on getting to know about the incident and more so on hearing about certain people’s disgusting reactions to it. He has a video message for everyone who is trying to justify these cruel crimes by defending men and calling out women for wearing ‘inappropriate clothing’. Here is what he has to say:

It seems there is a serious error in our evolutionary process which needs to be eradicated as soon as possible if we really want to move forward in the direction of a progressive society.
