Even in the 21st century, there is no such place in the world where woman can be assured of a safer life, without the fear of having any crimes against them or the lecherous looks they get every now and then from people of the other sex.

In this patriarchal society, women are bound to lead a life full of rules and regulations which are imposed upon them. For every crime against women, the society blames the victim and put more restrictions on them by giving some excuse or the other.
