No doubt marriage is considered to be a sacred institution in India, but in some way it gives men the right to think that they can do anything with their wives while women are expected to adjust to all sorts of harassment as it is assumed to be their duty. Even as per section 375 of the Indian Penal Code, if your husband tries to force you to have sexual intercourse, then it is your duty to let him force himself on you!
