How to hide photos on iPhone without using any Apps?

Does your iPhone contains some private images which you don’t want anyone else to see? Here is a convenient way how to hide photos on iPhone without using any apps.

For this purpose, you can use your Dropbox where you simply need to transfer the images from your camera to the Dropbox folder and secure it by any 4-digit password. In this way, your personally photos can be secured on the device itself.

Alternatively, you can follow these simple steps to keep your photos hidden inside the photo album itself and that too without the help of any other apps:

  1. First of all, you need to open the photo library on your iPhone or iPad and tap the image which you want to conceal.
  2. Then, after tapping the “Edit” option, you need to tap the “Crop” tool present at the bottom area.
  3. After that you are required to drag the edges of the cropping box in such a manner that only a tiny part of the photo can be seen inside the box.
  4. Finally, you need to save the cropped form of the image so that the newly saved form of the image will take the place of the actual image.

Moreover, while editing an image on your iOS devices, say iPhone or iPad, in addition to the edited image, the original image is always saved automatically on your device. So you need not worry about losing your actual image in the editing process. You can retrieve the original image conveniently whenever you feel like.

For retrieving the original image, you simply need to open the edited version of the image which is present inside your photo album and select the “Edit” option there. After that you just need to hit the “Revert to Original” option and your unedited image is here! This retrieving process is applicable for iPad. However, in case of iPhone, you need to drag the cropping edges in the outward direction manually for getting the original image since the “Revert to Original” option is not there in iPhone.

Hence, use this technique to be assured of the security of the images of your iOS devices.
