This Video clip from the Mirchi Awards is a hilarious mimicry of the Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar Ji by comedienne Sugandha Dixit.
Even though the sponsors said that the video was made with a good humor and should not be taken seriously, yet many famous members of the music industry were upset with the act. Singer Alka Yagnik felt that it was disrespectful and it was not the right way to treat a recipient of Bharat Ratna.
Lata Didi, being the calm and composed person she is, denied to comment on this topic saying India is a free country and everyone is entitled to entertain oneself.
