Even in this modern era, dowry is still a matter of serious concern in our country. While we don’t talk about it openly and claims that we are in favor of women-empowerment and all, when it comes to our personal lives we choose to become hypocrites and support the dowry system in some form or the other.
This admirable video by BIBA under the hashtag ‘#ChangeTheConversation’ tackles the problem of dowry system in a very interesting way and came up with something totally innovative. When a family met their son’s girlfriend and her family in order to fix their marriage, there came the topic of dowry. How the father handled the situation was something commendable.

We hope the concept of ‘reverse dowry’ was told on a lighter note because dowry in any form or from anyone is not acceptable!
