Konkona Sensharma as we know is undoubtedly one of the finest actors in India. She has always won our hearts with her unconventional and character-oriented roles. And this time she is here with her directorial debut with the upcoming film ‘A Death In The Gunj’. The film is co-produced by Abhishek Chaubey and has already been nominated for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The movie is based on true events and has a stellar star cast including ace actors like Kalki Koechlin, Vikrant Massey, Jim Sarbh (of Neerja fame), Ranvir Shorey and Gulshan Devaiah (of Hunterrr fame), Om Puri, Tanuja and Tillotama Shome. With so many talented actors around, the movie is sure to be a powerhouse of acting.
The film is depicted from the perspective of Shuntu, played by Vikrant Massey and shows a family vacation gone horribly wrong in the town of McCluskieganj, Jharkhand. From the trailer, the movie looks intriguing with a lot of twists and turns. We can’t wait to catch up on this amazing flick.
